Thoughts on using a shampoo bar

I’ve used shampoo bars for a bit more than two years now and I didn’t think I would like at first it but I really do. It’s also perfect for travel since I can cut of a small piece and bring with me and also not be worried about that shampoo will leak in my gym bag (which has happened before).

There are a lot of options for shampoo bars out there but I get my from Lush since I can go to the store and get it completely packaged free and then I store it in my boyfriend’s used beard balm tin and it works perfectly. But the convenience of using a shampoo bar rather than bottled shampoo there are sustainability benefits. I mentioned packaging which means less or no plastic and less waste but there is also no need to transport extra water, which saves on transportation emissions per product.
