To the mountains

Cheers!

It’s been such a hectic time lately with Christmas, New Years and birthday so last week M and I looked at each other and just said “Let’s not plan anything for the weekend”. We had a really good time, some friends asked us we wanted to join them on a hike and have some coffee out in the nature and when M and I got home we made pasta.

I have realised how important it is to schedule time off, but also how unaccepted it felt to say “nothing” when a colleague asked what I had planned for the weekend. I think we must normalise to not have plans all the time and prioritise rest time.
