New Glasses

Long overdue, I finally got myself some new glasses. I’ve had my old for nearly eight years, and when the optician asked me to compare the new strength with my old I thought she was joking because I could not possibly have believed that I saw just fine in my old ones. Well now I have two new pairs which I’m really happy about.

So what happens to my old pair? I spoke to the optician and they have a scheme where they send your old glasses to someone in need them, so they can get a pair for free. I’ve also seen other places who recycle the material in the frames and make new pairs. So, it can be worth checking out if you have an old pair laying around.
